Local champions Valletta will face Astana of Kazakhstan in the third qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League.

In yesterday's return leg, Astana scored three late goals to beat Andorra's Santa Coloma 4-1 and go through 4-1 on aggregate. On Tuesday Valletta drew 1-1 with Ferencvaros and were eliminated 2-4 on aggregate.

Valletta will thus continue their European adventure in the Europa League with a rather arduous trip to Kazakhstan, but can still have their say in this competition.
