We will experience a torrid heat over the next three days, with the Meteorological Office forecasting a feel like temperature of 41 degrees on Sunday, going up to 42 degrees on Monday and Tuesday.

The actual temperatures will hover between highs of 35 and 36 in the days in question.

Last week, the Met Office was predicting a high of 40 degrees all throughout the Santa Marija week, but this has been revised upwards.

It will be less hot as from Wednesday, going down to 39 degrees (actual 34), and further down to 36 degrees (actual 31) on Thursday.

Drink lots of water, wear light clothing and avoid being exposed to the sun for long periods.
