Five people - three children and two women - have sustained varying degrees of injuries after a traffic accident in Ghajnsielem.

Two boys aged nine and 14 are suffering from grievous injuries, whilst an 11-year-old boy and two women aged 36 and 45 who were in the Daihatsu Terios only sustained minor injuries.

The other vehicle was a Jago Geep driven by a 43 year old Norwegian residing in Kercem, who had two passengers - a 47-year-old American man residing in Rabat, Gozo; a 51-year-old German residing in Xaghra, Gozo; and a 41 year old Latvian residing in Swieqi.

The passengers, including the driver, are suffering from grievous injuries, whilst the woman received serious injuries.
