I don't think I'm the only reader who skims over several newspapers. Now and again one has to admire a few regular letter writers for their penchant to write in a serious vein but which provide some hilarity to people with time to waste.
One such gentleman has been on a campaign, on a rival paper, proposing that Creation came about haphazardly. Now last Sunday (11 August, 2019) this gentleman seems to have been so tickled by some recent Bus stop shifting in St Julian's that he left his anti-Deity hobby horse in the stable and embarked on a barrage against Transport Malta.
But isn't this gentleman all out for a general haphazard set up? Or does the sitting of a bus stop smack in front of a newly opened supermarket and the removal of the bus stop from Spinola not far from another recently opened shopping complex evidence what our dear Archbishop had stated, not without suffering much flack, that our islands are at times run on Cosa Nostra lines, or something to that effect?
