Liam Sciberras was the overall winner of the Skeet event sponsored by Splendid Garage, which was organised at the Malta National Shooting Ranges on two qualification rounds plus the final stages

This was the second time this year that the junior Athlete made it on the top spot on the podium.

Joining Sciberras were, Ben Attard who finished in the second place and another junior Athlete, Matthias Azzopardi who finished in third place overall.

The six Finalists in the Bib number order according to their qualification scores were;

David Gatt with the score of 46/50+3, Liam Sciberras 46/50+2, Ben Attard 45/50, Matthias Azzopardi 43/50, Ian Grima 39/50+2 and Elenio Mifsud 39/50+1.

The official overall results were;

1^st Liam Sciberras 15/20 + 9/10 + 6/10 + 9/10 + 9/10, total score 48/60

2^nd Ben Attard 15/20 + 9/10 + 7/40 + 9/10 + 7/10, total score 47/60

3^rd Matthias Azzopardi 16/20 + 6/10 + 7/10 + 5/10, total score 34/50

4^th David Gatt 15/20 + 5/10 + 7/10, total score 27/40

5^th Ian Grima 12/20 + 8/10, total score 20/30

6^th Elenio Mifsud 10/20, total score 10/20

The top Shooters in their respective classes concluded their two qualification rounds with the following scores;

 

Class A

1^st Ben Attard 45/50

2^nd Jason Sciberras 38/50 (Countback Rule)

3^rd Joe Muscat 38/50

 

Class B

1^st David Gatt 46/50 (Countback Rule)

2^nd Liam Sciberras 46/50

3^rd Matthias Azzopardi 43/50
