The Choral and Orchestral Society Maria Bambina A.D. 1947 of Mellieħa will be holding its annual concert on Sunday 1st September, at 20.15 in the Mellieħa Parish Square. This concert has become a trademark of the Victory day celebrations, having had its first edition in 1992.

It will cover various musical styles, ranging from classical to contemporary music, and it is sure to please everyone's tastes. The main protagonists of this concert are going to be the choir and the orchestra, the singers Claire Caruana, Ludwig Galea, Sarah Bonnici, together with the Marsa Pipes and Drums and Paul Curmi Dancers under the musical direction of Mro. Michael Bonanno.   

The admission for this concert is free. The Choral and Orchestral Society Maria Bambina is also responsible for the masses and internal celebrations that take place on the 7th and 8th of September.  Amongst its repertoire, Mro. Carmel Muscat and Aronne Sultana's sacred music will be the highlight during these celebrations.
