After beating them at last Sunday's First Division knock-out finali, Marsaskala Fish and Fish registered a morale booster as they defeated Birżebbuġa Freeport for the second time in three days. Now they are a step away from facing Valletta in the final in this best out of three series.

Marsaskala won the first session 6-3 and showed signs of tactical advantage as they were more compact. They were quick enough to react for the goals scored by their opponents.

In the second session, Birżebbuġa showed signs of comeback reducing the gap to a goal after goals by Mikhael Cutajar and Antonio Petkovic but Marsaskala found a way to finish the session with a double advantage.

Marsaskala assured themselves the win in the third session, scoring four consecutive goals from Konstantin Averka, Jean Claude Cutajar and a brace by Kristijan Milakovic. Birżebbuġa tried to stay in the game with two goals in the last moments of the session.

But Marsaskala closed the game in the early seconds of the match with two goals from Kristijan Milakovic and Jean Claude Cutajar for a clear 15-9 advantage. They controlled the game till the end.
