Former Minister George Pullicino and his wife Lourdes, a former journalist with the Nationalist Party media, are today celebrating 25 years of marriage.

The couple has uploaded a clip on their respective pages, showing photographs of their wedding with Zucchero singing “Senza una donna” in the background.

“It seems like yesterday and yet it's been 25 years of great, good, sad, tough times which, with God's help, we have spent at each other's side,” Lourdes wrote. George was less poetic, saying that 25 years ago “we started a journey together”.

The Malta Independent wishes the couple well on their anniversary.
