A 26-year-old Libyan worker was seriously injured while working in a factory at the San Gwann industrial zone.

At around 2.30pm, the police were informed that their assistance was needed at said factory. It appears that a number of metal objects accidentally fell on the individual, who was subsequently taken to Mater Dei Hospital for care.

Investigations are ongoing.
