Gozitan MP Frederick Azzopardi was taken ill during a meeting in Morocco, the Speaker’s office announced.

Azzopardi is part of a Maltese delegation taking part in the autumn meeting of the parliamentary assembly of the Organisation on Security and Cooperation Europe.

The Speaker’s office said that Azzopardi is recovering in a medical centre in Morocco.
