A 21-year-old man suffered grievous injuries in an accident that took place on Burmarrad road, St Paul's Bay at 12.15pm.

The police went on site and noted that a collision occurred between a Ford Focus driven by a 31-year-old woman from St Paul's Bay and a DFSK driven by a 21-year-old man from Birkirkara.

Ambulances took both drivers to hospital and the woman's injuries are not yet known.

Investigations are ongoing.
