A successfully cycling coaching course from UCI in Malta

Between 2 and 6 October 2019 it was held a very successfully WWC - UCI Coach Development Program Level 1 led by Tyrone Johns. This was made possible by the work of Joe Bajada, Secretary-General of the Malta Cycling Federation who is also a member of the UCI Cycling Solidarity and Emerging Countries Commission where he urges with UCI to maintain this very useful course in Malta. Indeed the same Bajada co-coordinating this course spread over five days for which the maximum possible attendees accepted the UCI for similar courses took part.

The Malta Cycling Federation want to give thanks to the UCI Development Director by Frederic Magne, as well as coach Tyrone Johns for the way he conducted the lectures both theory and practice in a very professional way. Other thanks go SportMalta, as well as manager Johann Scicluna and employees of the Hal Kirkop Sports Complex for their service and cooperation. At the end of the course, Joe Bajada said that after the success achieved in this course, he successfully got the confirmation of bringing to Malta another course from the UCI, the one reserved for Commissioners expected to be held between next 20 - 24 November. He appealed to all affiliated clubs to send their representatives to this course.
