The Police are investigating reports of a Peeping Tom at Mater Dei after the hospital's management filed a police report about a hidden camera in the female restrooms, the Force has confirmed with The Malta Independent.

The device was apparently discovered by bewildered cleaning staff earlier today.

The device was confiscated for analysis and to establish whether a crime had been committed.
