Two men were arrested in Qawra in connection to drugs, the police said in a statement.

The two men were arrested Saturday afternoon, and are an African national aged 21 and a Serbian national aged 35.

They were seen acting suspiciously near Ta' Fra Ben in Qawra, and were searched. The African man was found to be in possession of an Italian residency permit, cash and cannabis. The Serbian was also found to be in possession of cannabis and ecstasy.

Both men were charged in court with trafficking and aggravated possession.
