The Malta Drag Racing Association will be holding the fifth and final round of the Enemed National Drag Racing Championship between the 14th and the 17th of November at Hal Far Raceway. Over 120 competitors including six foreign teams will be competing with drag cars, dragsters and motor cycle classes.

Malta and Germany will be fighting each other for the top alcohol dragster superiority, Malta represented by the racing teams of Mr. Whippy and of Galletta, while the German's sent Silvio Strauch with his team Engine Gost Dragracing team. The fiercest and oldest fight will be coming from the Escort class where meticulously, almost identical cars in engine power output and car weight hence it will be down to the drivers' quick reactions and to use all available power.

The giant on the strip is going to be Duncan Micallef attempting a Maltese track record of under 4 seconds in his ground shaking Top Fuel Dragster.

Besides the grand stand from where one can follow the races, the paddock also promises to provide an interesting tour where one can watch and meet busy mechanics, technicians and helpers working hard and drivers nervously waiting for last minute fine tuning of their cars. Gates open from 10:00 am onwards and show is suitable for all the family.
