The Hockey Association's second competition of the season comes to an end on Sunday with the final two matches. At 9.00am Floriana Young Stars and White Hart face off in the 3rd and 4th place play-off while at 11.00am Qormi Daikin and Gree Hotsticks face off in the final.

Qormi Daikin are in line to win their ninth consecutive trophy. After their defeat in the Super Cup 2017/18 against Floriana Young Stars they raked up an impressive tally of eight consecutive trophies; starting off with the Challenge Cup 2017/18 and ending up with the Super Cup 2019/20. In between they took the League and KO in season 2017/18 and all four trophies up for grabs in Season 2018/19.

The semi-finals on Sunday were two contrasting matches. In the first one Gree Hotsticks eventually ran out easy winners, 8-0, against White Hart. Two quick goals in the first quarter from Christ Agius and Jonathan Borg, set Gree on their way but White Hart gave a good account of themselves in the first two quarters even missing a couple of good scoring opportunities. However things started going south in the third quarter as Ryan Dalli and Jonathan Borg increased their team's tally to four. Things got worse in the fourth and final quarter as Gree scored a further four goals. Daniel Agius got one, Joanthan Borg got his hat-thrick, Christ Agius his second and Alessandro Amore closed the goal feast. Nathan Galea and Edward Hughes umpired the game.

The second semi-final was a different kettle of fish as Qormi Daikin and Floriana Young Stars battled out an entertaining match that Qormi finally won in the last quarter.

An Anton Saliba goal saw Floriana take a 1-0 lead at the first quarter which lead was cancelled out by a Luke Bajada goal in the second quarter. The half-time score was 1-1. The game remained balanced through the third quarter with goals from Mark Camilleri (Young Stars) and Zach De Giovanni (Qormi) leaving the teams all square at 2-2 with 15 minutes to be played. Ayrton Falzon finally sealed the issue when he got Qormi's third goal to set them up for Sunday's final. The game was umpired by Robert Aquilina and Paul Brincat.
