Parliament was suspended minutes after the session started due to commotion involving MPs from opposing sides.

Parliamentary Speaker Anglu Farrugia called for Parliament to stop and live feed of Parliament has stopped.

It is understood that MPs from both sides were involved in a heated exchange which started as soon as the Prime Minister walked in the chamber.

The session resumed at 4.30pm.
