During the weekend, the Malta Air Rifle and Pistol Shooting Club organised its fourth in the 10m Air Pistol discipline, at the Larry Vella Hall indoor range in Bidnija.  The shooters had to shoot 6 sets of 10 shots for a total of 60 shots each in 1hr 15minutes, with the best eight shooters to qualify for the final.

After the 60 shot qualification, Eleanor Bezzina was at the top of the list with a total of 576 from 600 points, she was followed by Stephen Vassallo with 551 points, and followed by Stephen Cauchi with 546 points.

Eleanor had a strong lead in the final and won the competition.  Although Stephen Vassallo had a good performance in the qualification stage, during the final the points re-start from zero and Stephen Cauchi took the opportunity to over lead Vassallo and placed in second place.  Vassallo had to settle with third place.
