A man suffered serious injuries when he was attacked by two others whose identity is still unknown, the police said on Saturday.

The incident took place in Santa Rita Street in St Julian’s, on Friday at 8.30pm.

The 48-year-old man resident in St Paul’s bay was hit by a hard object and suffered serious injuries.

He was taken to Mater Dei Hospital for treatment.
