Miss Malta was one of the contestants taking part in the Miss Universe contest to slip during the swimwear part of the contest.
The event is being held in Atlanta, US.
Teresa Ruglio, 23, is representing Malta. Born in Venezuela, she moved here three years ago as the political and economic situation in her native country worsened, and began learning English from scratch on her arrival.
Other contestants who slipped were Miss France, Indonesia, Malaysia and New Zealand.
