“The time bomb that killed Malta’s Journalist, Daphne Caruana Galizia, started ticking , well before 2016,” Opposition MP Marlene Farrugia said.
“In 2017, some of us did our utmost to change the course of the increasingly dark history of the shocking present that was unfolding,” she wrote on Facebook.
“Then, much like we had been doing tirelessly during many preceding months , we tried to describe the even more dismal potential aftermath of a 2017 Labour victory, the tragic trajectory our political state would take.”
