The Major of Milan was organised last weekend by the Italian team Stella Artois Milano. It was held at the Centro Sportivo Schuster.
On Saturday Mario Camilleri participated in the Veteran Category and made it to the quarter final after passing first in group. Camilleri lost against the Italian Gianfranco Calonico with sudden death 2-1.
The team competition was held on Sunday.
The team was composed of Samuel Bartolo (Captain), Derek Conti, Mario Camilleri and Angelo Borg.
Valletta SC passed first in group and in the quarter final won against the strong Belgian team Rochefort TS 1-0. The semi-final was played against the winning team Reggio Emilia and lost 3-0.
Valletta Subbuteo Club is ranking 9th in the FISTF World rankings as per November rankings.
