Waterpolo: Humiliating defeat for Malta against Hungary

The Malta team will look ahead for a second consecutive qualification to the LEN European Water Polo Championships.

Malta suffered one of its most humiliating defeats yesterday as it went down 26-0 to hosts Hungary in Group C of the European Championship being held in Budapest.

This was the biggest scoreline during this year's championship. In earlier matches, Malta had lost against Spain and Turkey.

It was a disastrous performance by the Malta team which did not even score a goal.
