Futsal: A solid performance in the first back to back friendlies match

On Sunday a solid performance bearing fruit in a 2-2 draw with Bulgaria who are 16 places ahead in the Futsal World ranking, Bulgaria 95th, Malta 111th in the world.

Goals by Andy Mangion and Dylan Musú, the latter from the penalty spot, gave new Head Coach Zeljko Anicic the best possible debut for this back to back positive unbeaten result ensuing the 3-3 draw in October v Armenia.

This evening Kick Off time 1900h Malta will play the second friendly match against Bulgaria, as preparations sharpen prior to UEFA Futsal Euro 2022 Qualifying Group C in Malta starting Wednesday week.
