A Maltese man has been arrested in connection with a theft of sulkies in France, the Maltese police said.
The arrest was made in an operation conducted by the Maltese police in conjunction with their counterparts in Normandy.
Some months ago the Normandy police had requested help from other countries after the theft of the sulkies, which cost thousands of euros. The request was made via a European Investigation Order.
Some of the sulkies were located in Marsa, the police said.
In the past hours, the Maltese police arrested a Maltese man in Marsa in connection with the theft.
No age or place of residence of the man was given by the police.
