A baby boy died in Pisa due to the serious injuries sustained in a car accident on Monday afternoon.
The two-month-old was with family members in a car which was involved in a collision.
It is understood that an airbag exploded with the impact, causing serious injuries and later the death of the boy.
The baby was in a baby seat placed on the front passenger seat.
The boy died in hospital several hours after the accident.
