Corinthia Palace Hotel, in Attard, often walks the line between exciting innovation and timeless elegance. Its fabulous afternoon tea is the perfect example of that, and booking is now open.
Afternoon tea has long been a part of what guests enjoy most at Corinthia Palace. But, recently, the team chose to go that step further and create something even more special for its 2020 offering.
They started by bringing together their team of award-winning chefs - led by Executive Chef Stefan Hogan - to craft a menu that is nostalgically-true to the traditions of afternoon tea, but also just a little bit more contemporary and exciting in flavour.

This led to the creation of a special Maltese-themed afternoon tea. Inspired by local ingredients, this afternoon tea features savouries like the rabbit confit, fig chutney, almond and wholemeal tartlet, and the sheep's cheese and parsley turnovers, followed by orange blossom and cumin scones with fresh ricotta, and with pistachio and orange kannoli to finish! It's a true celebration of the very best Maltese flavours - but still promises that much-loved afternoon tea experience. And, of course, more traditional options, as well as vegan and vegetarian alternatives, are also available.

The Corinthia Palace team also looked at the tea itself. They wanted to offer something that is bespoke and special, and thus partnered with Camillia's Tea House - a speciality and tea wellness company with teas and herbal infusions designed and hand blended in London. They worked with Tea Master Ajit Madan and chose eight loose-leaf varieties that we believe blend perfectly with the Hotel's food offering, and with the ambiance of Malta.
Now, this wonderful combination is available daily in the Orange Grove. The Maltese Afternoon Tea must be booked in advance. To reserve your table please call 2544 2501 or click here for more details.
