ACN (Malta) is introducing YOUCAT Daily App for children and young people as this mobile App is both a good companion and a source of inspiration that they can make use of even in their free time.

Stephen Axisa, National Director of ACN (Malta) said "The YOUCAT Daily is a very good resource and indeed very helpful to deliver excellent support for children and young people to help them mature in the Catholic faith.   In the coming weeks, we are marking two events: the  period of Lent, during which the Church encourages us to pray and listen to the Word of God amongst other actions, and the papal visit at the end of May. In anticipation for this visit by Pope Francis, the Bishops in Malta have already appealed that we "live in true reconciliation together and treat each other with dignity and unusual kindness"

YOUCAT Daily helps identify and builds awareness of the key issues in the world, such as violence, fear, hatred, inequality, environmental pollution and terror. It shows how one can improve and also change society through the power of the Gospel.

A very easy-to-use inspirational app, YOUCAT Daily offers one the opportunity to have the Daily Reading at one's fingertips which can be read, for example, while taking a break.  It includes Q&As from YOUCAT (Catechism of the Catholic Church) or DOCAT, regarding the social teaching of the Catholic Church which shows young people how to work towards building a "civilisation of love", inspired by the Gospel and corresponding daily quotes.

The App can be downloaded for free from the Apple store or Google Play                       .

Those who download YOUCAT Daily will also be given a bookmark.
