By the end of this month, all post-secondary and tertiary students will be informed on how exams will proceed due to the coronavirus outbreak in our country, Education Minister Owen Bonnici said on Wednesday.

Speking in Parliament, Bonnici referred to the changes that both educators and students have had to adapt to after all schools in Malta closed their doors in order to avoid the spread of Covid-19.

Bonnici said that "we have asked all stakeholders within the education sector for feedback so that we can consider each and every situation for each and every exam."

He added that "examinations such as Benchmarks, O'levels, A'levels, MCAST and UoM examinations are all different. For this reason, every stakeholder put forward a number of proposals."

He added that "every decision that the government puts forward is a decision which has been thoroughly discussed and consulted with the stakeholders of the sector."
