Malta Tourism Authority officials found 80 foreign workers who are engaged on a local project staying at a Sliema hotel which is meant to be closed through an enforcement notice.

"The Authority ordered that these workers stay in alternative accommodation. In fact, the company which employs these workers has already found them alternative accommodation. It was also verified that these workers came to Malta before the mandatory quarantine regulation was introduced."

"The case is in the hands of the health authorities should further verifications be required."
