After several days of sunny weather, this last full week of April is set to be rainy and windy, according to the Meteorological Office.

Starting from today, a strong winds warning has been issued. The East Southeast wind will be strong at times over the exposed areas of the Maltese Islands. Warning valid till noon (20/1200 local time) and may be renewed accordingly, the Met Office says. Rain is also expected.

It should also rain on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday this week. In between, Wednesday and Thursday should be cloudy days.

The temperature will not change much during the course of the week, ranging from highs of 21 and lows of 14.
