The Nationalist Party will be nominating Health Superintendent Charmaine Gauci for the Ġieħ ir-Repubblika.

In a post on Facebook, Opposition Leader Adrian Delia said that if it were for the PN all the front-liners in the health profession will be given a special bonus for their heroic work during the pandemic.

"It is a shame that the government ignored this in the budget yesterday." The PN urged the government to implement such a measure.

"Now the PN will be nominating Gauci in the name of all healthcare front-liners."
