Coronavirus: Second consecutive day with zero new cases

For the second day running, no new Coronavirus cases were recorded in Malta, the health authorities said.

It is the first time since the first case was regietered on 7 March that no cases were registered on two consecutive days.

One patient has recovered from the virus in the past day too, the authorities said.

The number of cases remains at 665, with nine deaths.

The number of people who have recovered is now 618, while 38 cases remain active.

The health authorities said that 927 swab tests were carried out on Monday, for a total of 89,621.
