Minister for Education and Employment Owen Bonnici launched the prospectus for the upcoming scholastic year 2020/21 for the Giovanni Curmi Higher Secondary.

Minister Bonnici said that, “I happily accepted this invitation to launch the Prospectus for the coming acadaemic year. Post-secondary education, primarily gives our students access and prepares them for the job market. As a government, we are committed to helping our students when it is possible, and to provide them with the necessary tools in order to help them develop independent thinking skills.”

This year’s edition will be different from the previous years due to the unprecedented situation our country faced during the outgoing academic year.

The Head of School Gaetano Calleja explained how, “In line with its spirit of online teaching and learning, the school embarked on a project in which its students helped in the design of the prospectus from their homes and, instead of taking photos at school, students digitised their own paintings of themselves and their peers.

In the prospectus, one may find all the courses and subjects that the Higher Secondary will be offering during the next scholastic year for students who want to continue their studies at the University of Malta. Entry requirements for the Higher Secondary are also available in the prospectus.

The prospectus for 2020/21 can be collected from local councils and a digital copy can also be found online in the schools website.

Applications will open in mid-July.
