33 migrants have been brought into Malta in the early hours of Wednesday morning, the Armed Forces of Malta confirmed.
The migrants, all 33 being male were rescued by AFM and brought to Malta at 4:30am. The migrants all boarded the AFM patrol boat P51.
This group follows another group of 94 migrants who were rescued by the AFM on Monday.
On Tuesday, Health authorities said that 65 migrants from the 94 have been tested positive for coronavirus and are being kept isolated.
The results of nine other tests were still pending as of Tuesday night.
