PN MP Jason Azzopardi has filed a libel suit against one of PN leader Adrian Delia’s activists Vincent Borg, otherwise known as Censu l-Iswed.

In a Facebook post on Thursday morning, Azzopardi – who is one of the foremost critics of Delia within the PN – said that he was filing the case over “defamatory and foul lies” which Borg had written about him on Facebook on Wednesday night.

“Mr. Borg, as the provider of certain services to the PN leader, should know that I will not let anyone, not least him with his past and reputation, lie about me”, the PN MP said.

He said that if criminal libel still existed, then he would have gone down this avenue, noting that in its absence this is the maximum he can do according to law.

“I know what the diabolical plan against me by the criminal net and dirty elements of both parties is”, Azzopardi said.

He said that he was not going to let them stop him and cryptically said that soon, what thus far hidden will soon be revealed and everyone will realise “why this and why now”.

He also declared that every euro of damages which he will win in this libel case will be given to Puttinu Cares and Dar tal-Providenza.
