A 6-year-old girl has been hit by a car in Vjal Rihan, San Gwann. Her health condition is not yet known.

Police told this newsroom that the collision took place around 2:10pm on Monday.

The car involved is a Nissan March which was being driven by a 30-year-old.

The girl was rushed to hospital.  Her condition is still not known.

Investigations by the police are still underway.
