Residents in a street in Attard this afternoon have been locked out of their homes as trenching works remained incomplete.

An irate resident called The Malta Independent to complain that workers simply left the site in Ferdinand Inglott Street without providing any access to the residents to be able to leave or enter their homes.

Residents cannot enter or leave their homes without having to jump over the trench, which has also been left uncovered.
