The Royal Naval Officers’ Association (Malta) commemorated Armistice Day at the Capuchins Naval Cemetery in Kalkara by kind permission of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.
The memorial service was attended by a good number of members and friends, who, this year took every precaution to keep social distancing according to the present health regulations.
The service was presided by RNOA President, Lt. Andy Davies RN and Membership Secretary Lt. Cdr. Carmel Camilleri RNR.
Wreaths were laid by the British High Commissioner H.E. Ms. Cathy Ward LVO, OBE, The French Ambassador Madame Brigitte Curmi, The Australian Deputy High Commissioner Ms Susie McKellar, RNOA Vice President Lt. Cdr. Clive Bennington RN, Lt. Andy Davies RN for the Royal Fleet Auxiliary, Mrs Su Essex for the Royal Air Force, Captain Paul Warren MNI for the Merchant Navy, Mr. Charlie Galea for the Royal Naval Association, Mr. Edmund Forster for the British Army, Cdr. Mateo Robertaccio USN for the United States Navy and Capt. (SCC) Keith Caddick RMR for the Sea Cadet Corps.
