Labour Party deputy leader Daniel Micallef has hit out at the Nationalist Party chief for using the death of a mayor for political gain.
On Friday, Qormi mayor Renald Falzon died with Covid, aged 46.
This morning, PN leader said that one should not remain silent before deaths as a result of Covid, including that of the mayor.
Writing on Facebook, Micallef said that Grech seemed to be taking advantage of a person’s death for political reasons.
Grech has reached rock bottom just two months after taking over as leader, he said.
