A motorcyclist was seriously injured on Christmas Eve following a collision in Gzira, the police said.

The accident happened in Mikiel Anton Vassallo Road at 7.15pm.

The biker, a Nepalese man aged 22, was riding a Lymco Agility bike which was involved in a collision with a Renault Captur driven by a woman aged 24, resident in Kalkara.

The man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
