Three Covid-19 patients have died, the health ministry said on Thursday, meaning that the total number of deaths has risen to 219

The first was an 83-year-old man who was confirmed positive on 5 December. He died at Mater Dei Hospital on Wednesday.

The second was a 67-year-old man who was confirmed positive on 26 December and died on Thursday at Mater Dei.

The third was an 87-year-old woman who was confirmed positive on 17 December and also died on Thursday at Mater Dei Hospital.

The health ministry expressed its condolences to the families and urged everyone to follow the Covid-19 regulations.
