85 new Covid-19 cases, 64 people recover

85 new cases of Covid-19 were announced on Sunday, as 64 people recovered.

This means that the number of active cases has risen to 1,587. 

Since March 2020, there have been 13,082 Covid-19 cases on the island, of which 11,275 recovered. There have been a total of 220 deaths.

Between Saturday and Sunday, 1,995 Covid-tests were administered, bringing the total number of tests up to 521,341

White the cases announced on Sunday are still being investigated, the health authorities provided details of Saturday's cases. 18 were family members of previously known cases, nine were contacts of positive work colleagues, four were from direct contact with positive cases and three came from social gatherings.
