Two more Covid-19 patients have passed away, taking the total number of deaths in Malta up to 232.

In a statement, the Health Ministry said that an 85-year-old man who tested positive for the virus on 7 January and a 77-year-old woman who tested positive on 3 January had died.

They both died yesterday at Mater Dei Hospital.

The Health Ministry offered its condolences and urged the public to remain vigilant and to observe all preventive measures.
