184 new cases of Covid-19 as number of active cases reaches 2,322

184 new cases of Covid-19 were registered on Sunday, the health authorities said in their daily update. This brings the number of active cases up to 2,322.

On Sunday, 82 people recovered from the virus. In total, since the start of the pandemic, there have been 14,396 positive cases and 233 deaths, while 11,841 people have recovered.

Between Saturday and Sunday, 3,298 swab tests were carried out, with the total number of such tests reaching 543, 558.

While the cases announced on Sunday are still being investigated, the health authorities provided details of the cases announced on Saturday. 49 cases were family members of previously known cases, 20 were from contact with work colleagues who tested positive, 18 were cases from direct contact with positive cases and 15 were from social gatherings.
