154 new cases of Covid-19 and two more deaths; 11,705 doses of vaccine administered so far

154 new cases of Covid-19 were found overnight and two more patients have died, the health authorities said.

There are currently 2,764 active cases out of a total of 15,742.

The patients who died were two males, aged 73 and 84, who passed away at Mater Dei Hospital. The total number of Covid-19-related deaths is 241.

121 people have recovered, for a total of 12,717 recoveries since the pandemic reached Malta in March.

3,239 swab tests were carried out over the past 24 hours. The total number of tests carried out in Malta so far is 570,184.

The authorities said 11,705 vaccine doses had been administered by Sunday.

In the new infographic published on the Sahha Facebook page, no information was given about Sunday’s cases.
