Home Affairs Minister Byron Camilleri and Police Commissioner Angelo Gafa on Friday inaugurated a new police station at the Malta International Airport.

The new station offers more security and privacy for all those seeking police services there, the minister said. The investment was made by the Malta International Airport as part of the renovations currently taking place.

Minister Camilleri said that this station is one that deals with many different people, and needed to reflect the realities which the officers stationed there deal with.

Commissioner Gafa spoke of the environmental improvement as one that does not only benefit the officers, but also the public.
