Infrastructure Malta will on Saturday introduce the first phase of an upgrade of the junctions of Tal-Barrani Road, limits of Santa Lucija and Zejtun, to gradually eliminate traffic lights and replace them with uninterrupted lanes and safer junctions, for reduced travel times and lower accident risks.

Some traffic-light controlled crossings along this road will be closed as from tomorrow morning, the agency said on its Facebook page.
