A man was seriously injured this afternoon in a quadbike accident in Gozo, the police said.

The accident took place at 1pm in Victoria Road, Nadur.

The man, aged 36 of Zabbar, was riding a quadbike which crashed into a parked Isuzu van.

He was taken to Gozo Hospital with grievous injuries.
