Updated: Three bikers injured in separate accidents

Three bikers were injured in separate accidents in Mosta, Kirkop and Gzira, the police said.

The first accident took place on Friday at 1.30pm in Ragusa Avenue, Mosta.

The biker, a 31-year-old man from Rabat, was riding a Muz Baghira which was involved in a collision with a Mitsubishi L200 Warrior, driven by a 64-year-old man of Mosta.

The second accident took place on Friday at 5pm in First Flight 1915 Street, Kirkop.

The biker, a 21-year-man from Bangladesh resident in Mosta, was riding a Kymco Agility which was involved in a crash with a Lexus IS220D, driven by a Syrian man resident in Paola.

The third accident ook place on Saturday morning in Gzira.

An Italian man, aged 37 and resident in Gzira, lost control of the Kymco Xciting bike he was riding in Stuart Street at 8.30am.

The three bikers were taken to hospital with grievous injuries.
